Who We Are

Get to know all about Vancouver Island Garlic - what we do, our mission and our history. Vancouver Island Garlic is a year-round Farm that offers locals a variety of garlic species.

I am new to farming but have worked in the food industry for twelve years in the past in natural retail, wholesale, and production. While living in Saskatoon I both started growing garlic for my home garden and then I decided to get a diploma in Agronomy at the U of S.

Since moving to the Cowichan valley, I also picked up a horticulturist certificate have been looking for a crop that would work well on limited space. I have had good success growing garlic personally and research that I did while doing my schooling suggested that this would be a good candidate.
